dinner at Timbre with church peeps yesterday night.

dinner with AC peeps at Vivocity in a bit.

yesterday was rather eventful, believe it or not.
lunch at Hyatt, Mezza9 with jonkeng peeps- jon, wayne and kenny.
followed by bowling and arcade; daytona, some shooting game.
haha, it was all very fun. kinda like reliving the younger days.
and the cake they got for me was ultimate.
it had small figureans of spiderman, pikatchu and xiao ding dang! freaking funny.

stopped by to say hi and chill out with aletheia at Felt on the way home.
followed by two more episodes of Prison Break, my new fav show.

during dinner, 3 clowns came to surprise me; cherie, val and shaun.
it was great fun; with cherie and val learning tai tai and being a wife tricks from my mum
and shaun, being the mum-killer he is, absolutely entertained my mum.
the food was pretty good too, hats off to the 3 chefs.

2 custom converse shoes; one from the company. Jonkeng Singapore rules! haha.

was a pretty good day all in all, much better than i expected.
thanks to all that made my day.
but now im aching all over;
dunno whether its from the bowling or wine or its just me- im aging. RAH.

celebrated my birthday yesterday night with the family so we went to have dinner at Valentino's. a small italian shophouse tucked deep in Rifle Range Road or 11 Jalan Bingka Road to be more specific. also one of Singapore's top 50 restaurants. heh.

the food was really great, like REALLY good. classic italian home cooked food.
if you can, go give it a try. but bring your parents. heh.

in the last two months, i've attended 3 wakes.
i hate the idea of death, mourning and just seeing people sad.
and after all this, i can't help but ask myself: "what am i doing with my life?"

to add to my angst, my mother nagged me this morning about my undecided birthday party (plus some other random things) to the point where i got so fed up that i'm not having one. RAH.

today the van overheated. twice. on the SLE and CTE.
and then again on the way to fashion photog class.
to make matters worse, all this happened in the rain.

why does it always rain on me? lalalala.

yesterday night was grandpa's 80th birthday dinner.
was more like a wedding if you asked me. haha.
dinner was at shangri la ballroom with a peranakan theme.
ladies in kebayas, men in the chinese shirts or baba shirts, hardcore peranakan food.
and of cos we sang "Yesterday once more" and danced the slow dance and the salsa.
it was a great night for grandpa, or pops as we know him as.

oooooh, and i sat in his rolls royce. the beast of a car is 6750cc. its a hella smooth ride considering its probably older than me. highlight of my day.
